Returns & Exchanges
TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW.
- We have a 1 month return or exchange policy. If you place an order on January 1st, February 1st will be the last day you can return or exchange an item from that order. If you place an order on February 1st, March 1st will be the last day you can return or exchange an item from that order. If you place an order on June 15th, July 15th will be the last day you can return or exchange an item from that order - and so on.
- To initiate a return or exchange, complete the form at the bottom of this page. We will reply by email within 2 business days to acknowledge we have received your request along with a return shipping label. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund - shipping costs for an exchange of equal or greater value are on us.
- All returned or exchanged items must be sent back in the same condition they were received - undamaged, and in the original packaging with tags attached. If you need to try something on, go right ahead - just remember to keep it clean if you plan on sending it back.
- Generally you will see a refund applied to your statement within 5-10 business days. If you have not received your refund, double check your account. If it is not there, contact your bank or credit card company - it may take additional time based on processing regulations within their particular institution. If you have done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If you are making an exchange, the new product(s) will ship out within two business days after we receive and approve the item(s) you're exchanging. You will receive an email from support notifying you that the replacement items have shipped.
- If you have purchased underwear from us, please note that if the hygienic liner has been removed they will be ineligible for any return or exchange. Take a look at our product descriptions and fit guide to buy what works best for you. References are available on each product’s page and in the menus at the bottom of our site with a detailed description of the fit, sizing, and materials.
- Gift cards are non-refundable (items purchased by a gift card are eligible for exchange only).
- Any and all replacements, damages, returns, or exchanges are subject to inspection by our team. All products are inspected before they ship, and we reserve the right to refuse any return if what we receive is damaged or otherwise altered in any way from how it left us. If we refuse, the items you purchased will be sent back to you - and we’ll cover that cost. If we approve your return a refund will be processed less the original shipping cost when applicable. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The credit for returned merchandise will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. If you placed your order using a Visa or Amex gift card, refunds can only be issued in the form of an equivalent Boxcar Forever gift card.

Response times listed above are estimates that can change based on the season, order volumes, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances, please bare with us in the event of an emergency.
